I have recently re-discovered some of the music from my teenage years.

    Abraxas by Santana

    www.youtube.com/watch?v=9m9wwP4LNOQ

Thick as a Brick by Jethro Tull

    side 1
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldXdnZtTWp8

    side 2
    www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTWQv8RsI6s

Side 2 has some wonderful orchestral accompaniments...

Ah, my music. I have both original albums plus CDs.

I grew up with Pink Floyd (I want to school with them and Roger Water's mother was my teacher for 11 plus), Genesis, Yes, etc. and still enjoy that style today.

So many good talented bands with their own unique styles back then...

Agree! There's no lack of unique bands right now. Difference is they don't get famous anymore because the mainstream is very different.
