Fantastic earth tones in both of these! 👍 One more on the warm and one on the cold side... the Norwegian Fjord Horse shot almost looks likte it's out of a movie with these tones and dark borders!

Thank you. I like it too…despite my best efforts at self-sabotage. I was blessed, in this specific barn shot, with an abundance of daylight fill from a large door to my right. The rest of my barn shots are leaning a bit too far into the green, particular for neutral/skin tones. See: Another Blue Ribbon.
The tint is the result of using Verano Tostado. A film recipe I consciously chose to use for the State Fair. I’m pleased with the look for the bright sky outdoor photos, but Tostado didn’t react favorably with the (sodium vapor?) lights in the barns. This shouldn’t have come as a surprise given the white balance adjustments the recipe calls for, but I didn’t recognize the quality of light for what it was at the time. Next year I’ll use a different recipe, or shoot raw, for the barn interior shots. I’ll also keep better track of inadvertent movements of the aperture ring. ƒ11? Really?
No harm done. It’s all part of the game and a lesson learned. The trials, tribulations, and fun of semi-casual walkabout photography. ¯\(ツ)/¯
