A colored thread: PINK

I was recently thinking about creating a series of threads called "A colored thread: COLOR NAME" here, however I've already created a couple of threads in the recent days and don't want to overload the forum with yet another simplejoy topics 😉

@Ghundred has created what I assume to be a thread like that called "Yellow" and there are already some really nice shots in there, so I thought, perhaps, it would be a good opportunity to give a couple of threads like that an unified name and appearance, if other members agree on it being a worthwhile idea.

So, welcome to

"A colored thread: PINK"

a place to show images where either a significant portion is pink/pinkish or the main subject or eye catcher is in those colors/tones.

So, pink is not a color that features a lot in your shots? Don't worry, there are already other threads in that vein, perhaps one is for you:
- A colored thread: GREEN
- A colored thread: TEAL/TURQUOISE
- A colored thread: BLUE
- A colored thread: PURPLE/VIOLET
- A colored thread: RED
- A colored thread: ORANGE
- Yellow

I'll only add a single shot for now (again, sorry for the abundance of threads...) and then leave the floor to you.

I don't do much pink besides flowers. Here's a couple though.

The pink flower is very beautiful and elegant and shows really nice pink tones.

Interesting - do you avoid it intentionally or is it just rare in the areas you usually shoot? The shot with the car is great. Well spotted and captured!

Great example - many thanks! It's hard to make out the reason for the intense pink color. Is there a light source or is it paint on those rocks?

You got me on this one man. Pink just isn't a colour that seems to feature in my favoured subject matter :) But I will start paying attention now that you've mentioned it.
I'll be interested to see what appears in this thread though, I imagine there's going to be some quite diverse content.

😂 Yeah, I get you on that… When I started to develop an interest in macro photography a couple pf years ago I would have never guessed that I‘d shoot lots of pink things! Looking through my images, I have a good number of those…
