    Good afternoon to all wildlife lovers... :)

    From this week, with EOS R7 and RF 100 macro, taken handheld.
    After sorting my numerous dragonfly images from that afternoon in the excellent FastRawViewer software from Iliah, I converted these to my taste in Canon DPP software. Both images are resized to 1250px wide.
    I used Adobe only to put ©...

    No sharpening in PP applied... Great lens. :o

    Very impressive! Even though I don't use modern macro lenses these days it's great seeing that the 100 mm Macro RF delivers such solid results!

    Hi simplejoy and James, Thanks for your reactions...

    Big plusses for this lens are optical quality and VERY fast AF for a macro lens.
    The only thing I regret is that it doesn't take TCs.
    Those days, I had even better results with Nikon 105 AF-S VR + 2x TC because I could stay further away from the subject.

    An RF 200mm macro would be nice...
