My wife and I went to St. John's on a day trip to visit our son who lives there. It's a 4+ hour drive each way. We left at 5am to be there for 9am to spend the day with him, and left to drive home at 4pm. The following weekend, we hopped in the truck and went to Twillingate for the day to spend with our other son who has autism. That's a 1.5 hr drive each way but worth it!
