This Japanese Man was evicted from "his" Island in 2018 where he stayed for 29 years. He returned in 2022. He said he liked the Solitude. A filmmaker documented him in 2014.

"Masafumi Nagasaki is one of our favorite voluntary castaways. A Japanese who lived alone on the Okinawan, a desert island, for 29 years."

"Back in 2014 I was lucky to spend 5 days alone with this unique Robinson and capture some of the best moments on camera, but I never got to releasing them. For many years I kept those images safe, to protect his privacy and him on the island."

I'm surprised that there are remote Island Getaway Holidays?
