A beautiful afternoon for a gentle stroll WN. Much appreciated.
Been not too bad here lately but still cold at night and my car was frosty this morning.
Not great for standing by the river with a fishing rod.

Good to see you have been able to be more active WN. Another person fishing! It does not look like the type of place one would expect to catch fish. A lovely looking area. Seeing the large houses (?) in the background I don't think I could afford to live there though. I am attracted to living near water but it does come with risks. Where we are flooding would likely only be a possibility with an ark type event.

It really was Dave ... and everyone out seemed to be enjoying it ... Lots of benches to sit and watch the sun go down but not much of a show ... I'll pour us another cup of coffee as the moon comes up but then there is a bit of a chill in this April air .... so maybe ......

Lots of fishermen here.. I think this is mostly for practice casting but I could be wrong . Then again I've never seen anyone actually catch fish here but there is a heron that live along the stream behind this pond ... The city may stock it ..

This was part of the farm/ranch that is entirely enclosed within and surround by the city. The park I believe was donated to the city that maintains it .. the land around the pond is owned and developed by the Farm. The house are mid six figure and up properties ... This use to be part of the flood plain and was under water during a hard rain .. City has improved the drainage and I haven't seen any flooding here in recent years but while I wouldn't mind living here (although houses are to bit for me to want to maintain these days) I would be concerned ...

Thanks for stopping by Andrew ...

Thanks for stopping by, Rich ... It is peaceful. ./... Usually a goodly number of dog and just walkers in the park ... some fishermen .. and a heron or two ... The last picture is a pano ... We've been here numerous times and I'll probably take you back many more, as it is a convenient place for me to walk and enough of interest to make me want to walk here ...
