Well, with DPReview rising from the ashes coupled with this site being quiet for over two weeks, it's obvious to me where I shall spend my time going forward. Thanks to those who put in the effort here to keep the channels open, but this is the end for me.

Quiet… it’s always quiet at this time of year, summer has just begun and people are out surfing or playing golf.
In my opinion… dpreview is yesterday’s news… it’s a tired old forum from 1998 …kinda like a smoking jacket of yesteryear. lol
This forum dprevived is vibrant and has the potential to evolve with misago.

Agreed. I have no interest in going back as the issues we disliked have not been rectified.
Seen this a lot over the years with different forums where people need to announce they are leaving. I just go because no one I've ever met is as important as they think they are 😀 😉
Misago or not, it's only the content that matters to me. No content is a deal-breaker that more modern tech can't solve on its own. And who knows? The new owners might morph it using their existing toolset.
Sorry, but I don't think I'm all that. But I do have many faceless friends both here and on DPReview so my note more intended for them than someone who knows nothing about me.
