Big sky, two types of clouds, reflections (hints) of sunbeams and shooting into the Sun!
People near and far (a clue to the real distance/s - depth for the viewer) and the footprints tell a story too.

The dormant tree-line on the horizon works great without their leaves.
Multiple vanishing points, blacks that are black, and you broke the rule of thirds!

I sure hope that you don’t mind me commenting on your work, but, I think that this is an excellent photograph.
My brain is almost telling me, don’t stare at the Sun for too long.

Thank you for your comments. I really appreciate them. I was very lucky with the sky that day and the beach wasn't too crowded so I could wait until the 2 foreground figures were far enough away.
