The plant explosion goes on with full force. Everytime I go out there's more to discover.
I have always liked the filigree Bladder campions in full bloom.

The Globe Flower and Wood crane's-bill complement each other beautifully in color.

These peaks will remain white because this is a glacier, the only one I can see from here....
...while these peaks should soon be snow-free, assuming we get a "normal" summer.
Sur-En is a small hamlet on the other side of the valley. It belongs to the municipality of Ardez.

The Alpine pasqueflower is also already back and in a short time thousands of them will bloom.

The Fistula-shaped dactylorhiza belongs to the family of orchids, a beautiful plant.

I was surprised to see already the Chamois ragwort.

The hogweed is now everywhere to be seen and is at times already man-high.

The Garden lupin blooms only briefly, but at present it shoots up manifold along the roadsides.

The recently discovered lilac tree from another perspective.

And here a close-up of the flowers of a lilac shrub on the wayside.
