Actually, I didn't want to take any photos today, but I took the handy little GRIII with me just to be on the safe side. When I look at the results now I am very glad that I did not leave the camera at home....

Early summer is a wonderful time. There is much to discover and the temperatures are extremely pleasant. Today's cloudy sky almost screamed to be photographed.

The horses also enjoy the beautiful time to the fullest. As soon as they spotted me they came up to me to see who was handling a camera here. I was not sure whether I should not better seek the distance, because I am not used to deal with free, large animals ... And if at the same time three are heading towards me, I feel a bit queasy. But they were merely interested and absolutely peaceful :-)

Today I had really again and again great luck, because I came across this majestic beauty in the forest that was illuminated just right by the light. This Perennial cornflower has really done it to me. I was overwhelmed with emotion and was more than happy to see it!

Not much later, another beauty laughed at me at the edge of the forest path. This young, fresh Alpine pasqueflower was also lit just right. A photographer can not ask for more.

To top it all off, I encountered this stunningly beautiful orchid at the small lake, and of course the light played along perfectly here too!

The grass and the flowers are already so high that soon mowed here. So high time to capture all this yet. The air smells slightly of rain and it could be that in a few hours a thunderstorm is coming.

When the cows were grazing here, they often stopped at this very spot. In the lower left corner, you can still see their legacy. They seem to have a good sense to choose a resting place with a very nice view.

And here again the Garden lupines, which I photographed yesterday with the tele zoom. But I like this wide angle version even better.

It is indeed. They were probably hoping for apples.

Many thanks! And don't worry: if you want to visite the Alps. they will hopefully not disappear overnight... 😁

Thank you very much, Don! And I hope that the horses are not too disappointed in me... A camera I have almost always with me, apples rather rarely 😀

    Cheers,
