I'm about to send you 12 photos to do a portfolio set for me. Question: If we want to remove them and send you a new set of 12 at some later time, is that possible? I just sorta grabbed random photos for this, and would like to change it out in due time (when I have more time to gather a group that makes sense).

I've published your pictures here www.the-photo.org/minniev-port.html

At the moment, you have to send me new ones. In the fullness of time, you will be allowed to change your own, but that will not be for a while. I know what needs to be done, but it's whether the current server environment will let me do it (it won't at the moment, I need to see if the changes I want are allowed).

I've updated my portfolio with some images I took on my photo walk in York. Have a look here www.the-photo.org/alan-port.html and feel free to comment on anything in this thread.

Portfolio pages look very nice now. Thanks!

I assume that we are not now limited to only 12 photos. Correct?

What do you consider optimum size for submitted photos?

    Thanks David.

Optimum size? Basically, as small as you think will suffice while still keeping the quality you want others to look at. The pictures that Paul sent to me ranged from 50mb down to 2Mb. I reduced them to roughly 3000 x 2000 (using Power Toys) and the sizes came down to 3Mb down to 600kb.

No, you are not limited to 12 - it wsa just a number I came up with as a starter.
