Just wanted to say “Hi!” from a TG-6 user.
It’s a great little compact camera, and my preferred tool when I take photos while I’m on the beach or in the water. Plus it has a flashlight, and compass. No way I’m gonna use my smartphone in these situations. Mine is permanently wrapped in the silicone case, and I also use the lens cover for extra protection of the lens, as it would be vulnerable to scratches otherwise.
I am not a T-G6 owner yet. It's only list to acquire this year for wet photography sessions. I am looking for a capable camera that I can take out in the rain and shoot with. The TG is a winner in this regard.
I just got the TG-6. A great little camera! I had to get an adapter to use a lens cap, and I got the Olympus case and both Close-up diffusers. I wasn’t planning to use it under water, I just wanted a tough weather resistant camera, and the features are outstanding. The Microscope mode is absolutely awesome. I don’t know if this site has any feature to upload images, but I will check it out. (Had to switch user names, as my DPreview account would not transfer over).
I paid the $499 for mine, but since then I have received offers of $419 (Black) and $400 (Red) mostly from eBay sellers. They are new, but may not carry the Olympus warranty. It is an excellent little camera!
