Sure. I haven't been a super active poster on the R forum, but I've posted there occasionally and am enjoying my R7. My DPR username was almost the same, just with a space ("Mika Y").

I'm here with basically the same user name as DPReview.
Just joined after a decade and a half with DPReview.
I was 2nd Act Scene 1 at DP review. Now I am Second Act Scene 2 here. Third Act will be when I hang up all may photo equipment.

I am from the soon to be no more DPR. I am sad it will be gone. I must say I didn't see this coming. I learned a lot there. I have been in photography nearly all my like. I will be 74 this month. The hobby I had for so long became a job later. I have done just about all there is to do in photography. I know film and film cameras. I have done subminiature to large format and everything in between. I did B & W, color film and slides. I processed film and printed film. I worked at a hospital as a medical photographer. I have been published. Digital was a wonderful and taxing transition. The DPR forum was an important contribution in helping me make that transition. I still think in terms of film however. Which is good and bad, Those of you that have my sort of history will understand what that is all about. I really like digital. I do not like electronic view finders. Though some types of cameras are more suited to EF than others in my opinion. The DSLR was in my view perfected. All they were doing with was add features. It may be time to see a bare bones fully and only manual DSLR with a mirror without all these features but with superb image quality.. Lenses without any additions and no auto focus and with a focus scale. Simple to use and quick to set. A Nikon F digital.
To be honest I never liked auto mode. I still shoot in manual mode.
If the same people are here from the old forum it will make this place soar!

I'm very happy with bobn2 starting this new forum.
R5(since 2020) & R7 user. 30 years Nikon user before. After I tested R5 back in 2020, I sold all my recent Nikon gear (Z7, Z6, D500 & D850)
