ASubset. I posted mostly on the Minolta (then Konica/Minolta) forums and then on Ricoh, but I've not posted in years. My favorite film camera was the Olympus XA and then the Ricoh GRD IV although I've shot everything from 8x10 to Minox.

I am too. I have been to the other sites, and, unless I missed one, there is less activity there than here; but I do wonder where all the other users of EOS R cameras have gone to.

I recently became a bit more active on DP review, was bummed when I heard it was going south, and came here, this and a B&W photograph forum out of England that I enjoy.

Mainly was in the Sigma Camera forum - especially interested in pre-Quattro technology ...

Just a quick comment. I shoot a lot of birds and the R7 with the RF 100-400mm and the 1.4 extender is a great setup!

FWIW, I notice that the frequency of postings on DPReview in the EOS RF thread is still higher than here. I wonder whether others have decamped elsewhere, but I havent found a better site than this one -- I just wish that more RF users would participate here, so I can follow the latest news better!

I think some (me included) are still hanging on dpreview... it doesn't help that they aren't clear on when they'll close down and in which form the site will remain

As long as DPR is working, most members will hang out there.

Now they post even 3 articles per day when a few months ago there were days with zero activity. That, and the ambiguous information from their management, make me think doubt if they will be closed for good. I don’t care either way.

If they are really close, then the exodus will happen.

Yes. I used DPReview since it's early founding days in the late 1990s when I used mostly 35mm film cameras. I shot Nikon 35mm from 1971 and Canon from 1991 ( The EOS ultrasonic motor autofocus caused me to switch from Nikon) Been Canon ever since.
I did not log into DPReview forum until I had a little more time while hiding from COVID. I have been the same rdm5546 on a few different forums including DPReview.

It might be quite possible that the actual DPR staff and people handling converting the live site to an archive may be different, so DPR staff may not know until it's done.
