Anybody else use a Viltrox NF-Z ??

I just received my NF-X from Viltrox France, and as I mounted it gave immediately an error.
My Z30 got the updated software, per instruction, the NF-Z needed a firmware update via the USB C port.
I did it, without getting any confirmation or error.

Now the error disappeared. The camera keeps reverting to manual focus.
I tried to contact Viltrox, now I'm waiting for a response.

Any idea on what I am doing wrong?
Did I missed a trick ??

MF happens on both lenses, and they work fine on FTZ II:
AF-P 70-300 5.6E - Sigma 150-600C

• listed 180€ - I Got an offer, a coupon + a rebate.
  I ended up paying 81€ shipping & tax included - while I paid a used FTZ 218€

( I got a second adapter to avoid switching the FTZ four times a day - and ending up having it on the wrong lens )

Not only AF was not working, but the camera didn't read F/stop as well.

I sent a video to Viltrox.fr on Sunday and...
...Viltrox answered today, Monday:

A new update is on the way, I should receive it in 24 hours

that's Fast, really FAST.

( what Customers' Support usually answers in 24 hours? )

Firmware received in 48 hours and installed.

Everything is fine now, and works as expected.

Maybe even better and faster AF than the FTZ
( pant's feeling )

The Viltrox NF-Z is now permanently on the Sigma 150-600C.
Like the FTZ1, the bottom boob makes too complicated to use on the AF-P 70-300E, so I stuck there the FTZ II instead.

First time out in one week.
It feels good to be at the pond to test a brand-new TC-1401.

Yessss, I got it used for 160€..
...that makes for another long story.

Sticking it between the NF-Z and the 150-600C, gives me a very long canon in front of my diminishing Z30

It was fresh this morning. On the other side of the pond, there was a sign under the tree

Even at 102mt, I could see a horses-fly over the signpost 👀

From its legs position, I deduct that:

my Sigma lens is sharp with the Viltrox adapter

( and adding the TC is not losing that quality )
