Seeing the announcement today of the mono version of the Pentax K3iii I was hopeful that maybe some of that niche market interest will rub off and we get a GR mono version. Would that be of interest to anyone here?

I think it would be a cool option, but I have to say, I'm in love with B&W film simulations straight out of the regular GRiii!

No. but a GR with a very nice evf would be nice 👌

    Uh, why not? Sure.

The only problem is I only have two hands, and this would probably be my third one :-D

I agree with @Sprouty115 so a GR IIIm would be rather low on my priority list.

It might be challenging to adapt filters which is important in a monochrome edition. The NiSi one is way too clunky.

Despite my fears of losing what I'd gain by having to put coloured filters, I'd almost certainly buy a monochrome GR.

I cannot imagine a Ricoh GR with a usable viewfinder. It would probably turn me off, and I feel it would do so with several of its users. It defeats the point to transform the GR into another X100.

Interestingly, the GR1 film cameras had a pretty neat setup for filters:

The lens had a small lip with with "cutouts":

Then to add filters you used a small adapter:

And the filters screwed into that:

    All quite compact...

Yeah. Now I wonder how they could do it on the GR III(x) as the lens construction is different. But this looks like a nice trip to the past, thanks for sharing.
