    Hello,
I just hope I can ask this question on this forum.

As I'm filming and taking photographs with a smartphone I do have a problem with shallow depth of field.
In some cases you can solve this by getting close to the subject but in my case this is not possible.

My daughter is busy on figure skating and the closest I can get is about 5 meters.
I am aware of portrait and portrait video modes but they don't do the trick for me.

I'm having a look at software capable of blurring the background in post-processing.
I've gone through Adobe premiere, adobe after effects, wondershare filmora, and some stuff for android.
Although some of them have 'artifical intelligence' for separating the moving object from the background, I haven't found one that can do the job for the complete video.
If anyone knows another software for movie background separating I'd love to hear it.
But I think I will still need to do some more post-processing, so a software that does the separation but lets you go through the incorrect results and alter them so the moving object is properly separated.
    anyone?
    regards

Snapseed works well and is popular for editing on our phones. Use your finger like a brush to apply blur, etc. It is in the Google Play Store for free.

    Hello,
Now I tried Davinci resolve and this gets the job done, there are still some frames wrong but I can correct them in Davinci.
So this will do th trick for me.
I'll have a try with Snapseed and how far this gets me.
    thanks
