Picked up a new tamron 18 300 for my a6300 to give birding a try, really liking the new lens.
A few more.
Tamron and Sigma both make pretty good lenses. I have the Tamron 150 - 600mm G1 (240 - 960mm 35mm eq on aps-c) for BIF and wherever else I can't get close to the subject.
Don, you seem to have made a good start. The parrot is a really colourful guy. You have some interesting wildlife in Australia.
most are in my mothers back yard . the sea gulls are the only ones i shot at the hawksbury river.
The B&W photo is of a birder not a bird. I can tell by the shape of its ears.
If you want to be a birder , you need to call them Silver Gulls, not sea gulls.
Be careful because before you know it you will be going around with a notebook and wanting to fly off to Europe to take photos of a Blue Tit.
Not to be confuse with the Blue Footed Boobie, those are more of a challenge.
i think i will just settle with capturing an Australian Ted Tit 😉😁
