swamp hen, but i think the new zealand name of "pukeko" sounds a lot funnier

its a struggle to manually focus lens on old DSLRs!

Unfortunately I didn't get any shots of this Eastern Great Egret in focus but I have included this one because I am pretty sure it has somehow managed to break a few inches of the top beak!
