I have been trying to stay inside in the air-conditioning as much as possible the last few days with this bit of a heatwave we have been having. I thought I had better pull my finger out and sort through the photos I took on my trip to Tasmania at the end of last year. So here are a few bird photos from there.
First of all a Tasmanian Thornbill.
A Silvereye.
A female Superb Fairy-wren.
And a male Superb Fairy-wren in full breeding plumage.
