Might be helpful to put all known bugs together in this thread, so we can keep track of the progress.
Known Bugs / Limitations
A new posting is indicated by a blue flag. After reading it changes to a grey one. I find:
1) the colour of the flag doesn’t always change to grey when I move back to the ‘Threads’ view
2) the grey flags don’t always persist after logging off and back on again
…but sometimes they do!

I received a single email notification after I turned the option on, back around when I first signed up here.
Since then, there have been quite a few responses to threads I've participated in (and/or am subscribed to) and I haven't received any further emails. I assume that's the case for others as well.*
Photo upload bug report
If the photo is portrait from my camera (Fuji X-T5), the thumbnail is rotated 90 degrees, but the actual picture appears correct when clicked.
This may be due to the resizing process but I can't upload 20Mb images to prove it. Actually, I doubt that is is because the big picture appears OK.

Usernames limited to 14 characters
Usernames cannot have spaces in them (this one may be harder to fix)

I'm seeing that issue too.
If I bring up a threads view, then visit a number of the unread (blue) threads, when I return to the threads view and/or refresh it, some of the threads I've visited are grey and others are still blue. Seems random.
Initially, I thought it might be that I hadn't visited every page and viewed every post of a lengthy thread. But: a) it sometimes happens with threads that only have a few posts, and b) I tried meticulously visiting every page and every post of one of the long threads, then navigated back to threads view, it was still blue (even after a couple of refreshes and a cache flush). FWIW.
mybe the orientation exif tag gets lost, is there a post where i can the it?

I tried to add an image to a reply (to SamBennet) but the valid link I used, 1drv.ms/i/s!Ah-Z4bsn_6G89rBXy8dfvEDCD3vyBg?e=ZXITM5 , was errantly rejected, "Please enter a valid address". This made me sad.

The new post flag is sometimes not removed from a post when I scroll past it. Mostly this happens for posts that are longer than the vertical dimension of the browser window, but not always.
Just a heads up that notification emails seem to be working again after the maintenance update earlier today. Hurrah!

I have new idea for those: just seeing part of the post will instantly trigger this post setting as read, but forum will only remove the label at later time.
