50sii, Hasselblad 80mm, Lensbaby OMNI Creative Filter System. I don't shoot people much, so I appreciate any advice for improvement. Does anyone have a solution for manual focus lenses and handheld flashes? Tried growing a third arm, but so far it's just a thumb.
I like your shots and would say they're creative and well done from a technical perspective. However how I feel about them ultimately, depends to a certain degree on what they were created for... Is this for advertising, or intended as a portrait shoot for someone/something?
I personally like the last two shots best - I like your use of the Creative Filter System (if it was done by that) in those. Do you enjoy using the lens-baby system?
Model shoot. Testing out gear. Always exploring new ideas and subjects. I want to work with people more and do things like fashion and portraits. It was my first shoot with the Lensbaby system and I liked it a lot for what it is. Well worth it for creativity, as you can see in those last two shots. Really easy to use and then immediately take away. Don't need to screw filters on and off. You just swivel and boom, clear view again. Not sure how well it's going to work with an AF lens yet, so that's next on the testing list. Not really sure about the usefulness of one attachment, but the other two are pretty cool.
