Hi, I still find it difficult to navigate this site compared to DPR. I understand that it would take a lot of time & effort to catch up but may I suggest that using BOLD for camera categories would make it easier to spot them when scrolling down the screen?
How difficult would it be to have the horizontal top bar with drop-down menus?
We're basically running the forum with the out-of-the-box theme, I believe at some point some design expertise might be brought on board to review the whole site. At the moment the focus has mainly been on adding some custom functionality, such as the photo/EXIF viewer and ability to mark an entire thread as read.
You can get some of that drop-down functionality on the threads page instead, and that's actually how I prefer to use the site - it lets you quickly choose a category and optionally sub-category and see the threads within.
