I’m trying to find the canon to mft adapter that does not reduce the focal length. I can’t find it listed on Viltrox or Metabones sites. Dos anyone still make a basic AF adapter that maintains the original lens FL?

M43 has a 2x crop factor such that any FF lenses when adapted on M43 camera will offer a 2x effect on equivalent Angle of view (the 4:3 vs 3:2 factor been excluded here). E.g. a 50mm FF lens will offer 100mm eq AoV on M43 camera.

If you need an adapter which can retain the original AoV of the lens, you need a 0.5x adapter. AFAIK there are a few Speed Boosters around but the Metabone 0.64x could be the widest of the market. Therefore a 50mm FF lens will offer an eq AoV of 64mm on M43...

What is the focal length you are looking for? The large native M43 lenses portfolio should have something for you, not only the required AoV, but also the better AF speed, certain features only avaliable to native lenses and might even cheaper as those speed boosters are never cheap.

Are these what you're looking for?

Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds T Smart Adapter
    www.metabones.com/products/details/MB_EF-m43-BT2

VILTROX EF-M1 Auto Focus Exif Lens Adapter for Canon EOS EF EF-S Lens
    viltroxstore.com/en-gb/collections/mount-adapter/products/viltrox-ef-m1-auto-focus-exif-lens-adapter-for-canon-eos-ef-ef-s-lens-to-micro-four-thirds-ef-m43-cameras-camera

They are both smart adapters with electronic contacts, but no focal reducer optics. So, a 50mm lens remains 50mm (field of view equivalent 100mm on MFT).

Viltrox does the EF-M1 without the focal reducer optics and the EF-M2 with. I have them both. They're identical apart from the optics. The EF-M1 still appears to be available.

Thanks all. Apparently the Viltrox EF-M1 along with or the Metabones T smart adapter are the ones I'm looking for. For some reason they were not showing up on my searches
