That RF 24-105L is most of the time glued to our R, but as mentioned when we go light it will be swapped with one of the 24-240s
And you right the RF version is better than both EF versions, but I have to use the EF versions on our analog Eos camera's ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah, for sure. It's scientifically proven that the mirror reflects most of that magic fairy pixel dust away from the sensor, resulting in a noticeable loss of image quality.

You are being silly. There are valid reasons for getting better images.

"Mirror-less" does not just mean "without a mirror"; it also means things like "using the imaging sensor for metering and AF, and the availability of variable brightness in the EVF or LCD as a tool". Surely @davidwien did not mean the former.

    Yes! โ€œMirrorless Systemโ€ implies more than just โ€œwithout a mirrorโ€. ๐Ÿ˜€

I think someone should either put a disclaimer at the start of the thread, or at least a proper definition that would hold up in a court of law as to what really defines a mirrorless camera, or, as seems traditional here, start a thread on the definition of mirrorless, and then argue for the weeks and multiple hundreds of posts as to the the meaning and intent.
That might even make you look clever ๐Ÿ˜

Actually I did own a Mirrorless Canon Eos camera a few years ago ๐Ÿ˜‹
Even before the M and R series existed

(one of our Canon Eos 1N camera shattered it's mirror after firing a short burst (6 frames/sec) with the Powerbooster attached)

Did you get 7 years of bad exposure?
