Seen on a cached Canon web page (apparently removed from the current web page):
"Sensor Shift-IS
Yes, up to 8-Stops when used with compatible lenses [1]
IBIS High resolution shot [2]"
footnote 2: "with firmware v1.81 or later"
"IBIS High resolution shot JPEG: 24576 x 16384 [10]"
And footnote 10:
"with firmware v1.81 or later"
All of these teases has me curious. While I have never been interested in pixel shift before I now plan to try it whenever the update for my R5 is available.
Great collection of R5 resources!

I have used Canon Price Watch before and it is excellent. Canon sets a minimum ADVERTISED price. He finds resellers willing to sell for less and he gets special affiliate links for those prices at their site. I saved hundreds on my brand new 5D Mark IV and on my 24-70 f/2.8 lens. The 5D came from an authorized Canadian dealer… I knew up front I was buying from Canada. The 24-70 L lens came from a very well-known US reseller.
Nothing is hidden: You get a link which goes directly to the reseller and you buy directly from them. Canon Price Watch is merely an affiliate; your money and your camera don’t pass through them.
