    So much for our pixel peeping tendencies. 😁
    But I guess at the time of VGA monitors, you would blast the image on full screen, no issue.

    ... and hope that any mapped-out pixels didn't fall in a critical location in the image, like in someone's eye.

    $1500 1998 dollars - That's about $3000 today, which would purchase a mirrorless 50MP camera with lens, almost instantaneous AF, face recognition, 10 FPS, video, etc., etc., etc
