I'm being fussy, but I like things as perfect as possible.
A lot of the forums' descriptions start with a lower case letter, when they should (obviously) start with a capital.
I haven't checked all the forums, but these are the affected forums under "Photography Discussion":

I would say that is a matter of style, it is not obvious to me that they should start with a capital.

But it would be nice for them all to be consistent.

    It's regular English grammar.

But we live in the year 2023 and the rules of grammar have become as flexible as cooked spaghetti.

I'm sorry; I'm not trying to be inflexible and annoying. But my opinion remains the same.

I'll tidy things up over the next few days. I didn't create most of them - but I am a classic english user, so to me, capitalising each word is wrong.

In German nouns are capitalized. This site is not in German. In English capitalization is reserved for the first word of a sentence and proper nouns (names of persons, places etc.). In reality today I suspect in english there is too much capitalization. It seems that the heavy reliance on Power Point has had an ill effect on the English language as it promotes in communications in phrases, incomplete thoughts and snippets - both in the real English of the US and the "old English" of the UK. 🤪

On top of thing I think the developers have a lot of other enhancements and fixes on their priority list like better organization by threads, larger image downloads, etc.

At some time we'll get some suitably qualified person to do a style audit for the whole site - or you could volunteer if you want.

Ever seen a style guide? You could go over the site and produce one - then, if you like, go through getting it consistent.

Sounds good to me, I'm nowhere near clever enough to even think about that sort of thing. I'll stick with text.
BTW Bob, I take it DPRevived uses British spelling?

    No problem :)
I have nothing against visual style guides either, unless they require implementing them in pixel-level precision (I have seen such guide, fortunately I was not one to implement this).
