I have a Nikon D600 and 85mm f1.8 D lens, this is excellent for shooting the outside of cars.
I need something wide for interior shots.
I'd be buying secondhand on a limited budget.
Experience using a god-awful camera-phone (S22) tells me there are times where I need something pretty wide to get the job done.
I was thinking Tokina 16-28mm f2.8, but I'm not really a fan of non-camera branded lenses (every non branded lens I've ever bought has given issues, every Nikon/Canon lens has been problem free), but nevertheless I feel on this occasion it's the way to go.
The photographer in me wants to get a Nikon 24 f2.8, but recent experience with my phone necessitated using it's wide setting (Standard lens is a, too wide for general use, 23mm equivalent) which is equivalent to 13mm lens!
Any ideas?
Oh, and cheap flash for fill-in use in these interior shots. I very ignorant as to what's truly compatible with the D600. I'm happy using something very manual, calculating guide numbers, etc, but ideally this may occasionally be used by others without that knowledge.
Wide coverage may be something of an issue, but I'm unbothered by a little vignetting, and will probably bounce to improve things. Power shouldn't be an issue as I can use a big aperature, with a wide lens I'll still have plenty of DOF.
I see the SB500 as an option, but a little expensive even s/h. Godex, Neewer, Yongnuo and Metz seem to offer a number of options. Opinions very welcome?

I was surprised how good the Laowa Zero D shift lens is. They make cheaper manual focus lenses like this one. I have an old Sigma 12-24, autofocus lens that may or may not work on your D600. They are quite cheap second hand.
