Color for the month of June, 2023 is Red

Anything Sigma or x530 - Camera, Lens, or both. Looking for red content not necessarily the whole image.

For this thread, anything between orange-red and purplish red will do ...

Sunsets are cliché but it's all I've got around here ...

I cannot identify this particular tree...though i am actively trying to find out. It does not appear to grow very tall...3 to 4 mtrs. is the max. that i have observed.

The flowers look like suspended lanterns and are very pretty!

about 20 degs towards magenta and about 70% saturation (HSV) - such a difference from the classic in-your-face red rose (not yours, Arvo) ...

P.s: The deeply saturated colours still require very very careful preparation for photographic work with the Sigma DP1x. Though the colour balance has improved quite a bit over the DP2s.

I am inclined to comment that this camera requires another new learning curve 😃
