    The bird was about 20 feet away in a bit of a dark spot but what can you do.

    Oh I just love these Kingfisher you have your way. Gorgeous they are and the colours along with the markings are fantastic.

    I’ve only seen a kingfisher a couple of times, never mind actually getting a photo.

    Nice shot but too dark, I brightened it up a bit.

    Kingfishers are magnificent birds; so colorful. I wish we had them in my neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing.

    Over here they are becoming less scarce now because of milder winters during the last years but they used to be pretty rare here as well. Thanks for the reply.
