    I'm relatively new to the forums so forgive me if this is a naive question. DPReview will be gone in 7 days. I expect that there may be future proposals and ideas to either purchase the site, save it, obtain the data, etc. These things take time. Does anyone here have contact information outside of DPReview for their departing staff members (besides Chris and Jordan) ? They will not be reachable through DPReview after it closes. Just thinking ahead....

    You can click on the staff photos at the following link for details including email addresses (at DPReview). Presumably their work email addresses will stop working soon, and their private contact details are… private (except maybe their social media).

    www.dpreview.com/about

    Keeping in mind these folks are probably not in any position to handle enquires about the site data etc, any enquires like that will likely be referred to Amazon.

    @fourthirdster

    You better get your big wallet out if you are going to purchase it. lol
    Phil Askey started DPReview in 1998 and sold it to Amazon for a rumored $20 million in 2007

    Good news — the camera feature search and all data is saved

    Maybe, but they may have contacts at Amazon. Emailing Jeff@Amazon.com won't get you very far.

    But it is now worthless to Amazon or they would have sold it. Many user posts over the last 2 weeks asked Amazon to donate it.

    I would hope that everything as to reviews, etc, can be preserved.

    Amazon don't care, it's likely easier for them to just close the site than sell it off etc. Before harassing the DPR staff to try and "do a deal" - it's worthwhile remembering they've lost their jobs, and as the closure rolls closer, probably more focussed on finding other work, supporting their families, etc...
