Sugar crystals contaminated with E104. (for cross viewing)
Might mean something if we knew the amount of magnification.

I like it - beautiful result and way more effective in 3D. 👍
It is ~5mm FoV, taken with Sony a6300, 4x achromatic microscope objective, ~160mm tubes, 140+ stacked images/eye.🙂
Very interesting and great shot - while not as effective in 3D in my opinion it is even better as a regular shot with its detail. How do you know how far apart you have to take the shots? At a couple of mm the distance between the eyes is no longer an indicator, right?
And doesn't the sugar change it's shape during the process?
Thank you for the appreciation!
The pair was intended to be seen on large screens or on HMDs (high magnification), in which case the depth is perceived to be higher than on small screens.
A larger stereoscopic base would have been more favorable for forum posts.
Image content is dry. It is a little sugar collected from the wall of a container with sugar through which at one point passed a wet teaspoon with some soluble coffee on it. The moisture produced what is seen in the image after the combination dried. 😀
