I had found old photos of my Dad from his schooldays.

It’d been published in a Commemorative book. Who owns the Copyright. Some of those photos they might be over 70 years old, been posted in Facebook, where I found them originally.

I’ve contacted the Publisher of the book.

Here’s the web version of the Book.

Some of these photos have been preserved in Singapore’s National Archives.

Copyright on your Dad's old school photos generally belongs to the original photographer, or their estate if deceased, for the creator's life plus 70 years (in the UK/US). Unless he's signed it over - which the publisher should know.

Thanks, plus it appears that his name has been misspelled in the book. It’s from 2019. I haven’t informed the publisher.

It may have been one off print run for the Occasion of Singapore Bicentennial in 2019.
