Cora the dancer

Thanks for the questions, the image was done in Photoshop the clock, Cora and the grass are in two separate layers with differing blend and opacity treatment.

Cora is a DAZ3D Genesis 3 female figure, the basic figure was then re-rigged and sold by Adam Thwaites in Scarborough. I start posing Cora from the default A pose right down to her individual finger joints, she is but an amateur, but not a flaky one, always turns up, never late, and willing to attempt any Ballet pose and often gets very close to them :-)

None of the above uses AI.

If you are interested in the layering process I will gladly do a screencast composite thingy in Ps, it would probably take 45 minutes to do a reasonable one., I often take several days to get them finished, like having something for Cora to stand on Doc :-)

Ballet dancers who pose are way way above my pay grade. I can use Cora and if the pose is not quite right I can alter it. The DAZ software is free its GUI is somewhat daunting, one then pays for addon's and clothes.

Little anecdote

We went to the Birmingham Rep to see Ballet Rambert, they must have sent the B team, the timing was embarrasing. People were getting up and walking out. It was the first time we'd been to see anything like that.

A few weeks later we saw that the London Contemporary Dance Theatre were comming to the BBC studios in Gosta Green. So we went to that not expecting very much!

We were wrong; we realised very quickly that we were watching something extraordinary and we could sense the dancers knew it as well. A standing ovation and lots of More shouts, which they gladly did.

I must explain that Cora is an amateur, but, she always turns up, is never late and will attempt with enthusiasm any pose.
