These were taken in 2019 with the EM1 and the 4/3 50 - 200 lens from near the back of the theatre. I reworked these with Topaz Photo Ai and PSP. The improvements are slight but better overall.
Andrew
Those look really professional. Especially the B&W ones.
Thanks Charlotte.
Andrew
These are very good, Andrew. Dance is a new subject for you. Impressive.
Lovely Andrew I think the mono ones are great . Ice hockey/ dancing/ cars/ Birds is there no end to ur talent 🙂👍
Thanks Craig. I was a bit surprised how well the images turned out. There timing was everything and I did not shoot in a burst mode.
Andrew
Thanks Paul. You are too kind! Unfortunately the granddaughter gave up dance so no more recitals for me in the foreseeable future.
Andrew
Very nice work, Andrew. The dancers look professional and so does your photography. I think your timing was great, especially as I've read that you didn't use burst mode. Isn't it nice to shoot something which is lit well and you don't have to be concerned with that? Rich
Thanks Rich.
I was surprised they turned out as well as they did. The old 4/3 lens did well snd that was the original 16 MP sensor so relatively noisy. My only shot at shooting dance so I was happy with the results.
Ordered a TENS unit and it arrived today. Will see how that goes because my supply of oxy from 2016 will not last much longer. It is cheaper than Scotch!
Andrew
I don't have any experience with TENS, Andrew, not personal, nor anecdotal. I hope it works for you and I will be very interested to know. Rich
When I was going to physio that is about the only thing they did. I was better when I stopped going than I am now. I had to take care of my wife and stopped going. I likely would have anyway as I thought it was about as good as it was going to get. They used TENs and EMS machines on my legs after the two osteotomies and the two knee replacements. It does work but does not fix the underlying conditions that cause the pain.
Andrew
Another one I missed!!.. Very nice results I particularly like the B&W as you have done them ..
