Last weekend we attended the annual Mustang show in Delhi. I am not a big fan of the show as the cars are all parked diagonally along the streets. We got there late and many had left which gave additional room between the cars. I have a few additional images of some musicians that were playing there but I will post those separately.

Not Eleanor as it is only a GT350 and not the GT500 and also not the correct colour, but it is a 67.

I like the old ones for the nostalgia and the new ones for the technology. I was trying to figure out which of these I'd pick if I could have one. I finally realized that wouldn't do, I'd have to have two. That red 64-65 2+2 with the Pony Pack looks good. I might settle for just that one if it has a 289 4bbl and a four speed.
The largest car show around here, The Fortuna Auto Expo, has the cars parked like that on the street. That makes the photography difficult, but I love just looking at the cars. I haven't been to it since covid. The streets are crowded and you can help being close to people. Just a month away and I am thinking about going. Rich

Delhi, Ontario David! Perhaps I ought to have indicated that but since I live in south western Ontario very near Delhi it never occurred to me anyone would think otherwise!

We did not drive the pony to the show Rich. It is an 8 km drive, we would not have made it before it closed if I had to take the pony out of the garage, and it needed to be cleaned. Yeah, a lot of excuses but mainly we would have gotten there 15 min before the show was to be over if I had taken it out of the garage. Poor planning or reluctance to go on my part.
There were two red 65 ponies there Rich. Not sure which one you mean. Both claim to be GT versions and have the badging and fog lights necessary to be GTs. That said, the striping on the first one looks dodgy but that may be from a repaint and poor replacement. The first one appears to be original other than wheels and the second has been dressed up considerably.
For myself, for a modern one I would take the white hardtop with the blue strips, a GT. For an older model, I like the 67 GT350 but it would not be my colour of choice, white with blue stripes or blue with white stripes would be my choice.
No idea what we missed but the show always ends early, 2:00 pm and many cars leave early.

Rich, that yellow colour was used around the time of that build. GM used it on some Corvettes around the same time period. I do not know if it is an original colour but it may be. Also, it looked rather in need of a good polish. Some of these cars are drivers and some are likely only driven to car shows. The yellow one looks like a driver or someone happy to own one but not willing or able to put money into it to make it show car quality. (That would be me if I had one, but I have no nostalgia cars!)

Sorry, Andrew! I lived for seven years in Port Huron, MI, but never heard of Delhi, ONT. We use to have similar car "shows" in the main street each year -- perhaps some of the same cars that also go to Delhi! (I have photos somewhere...) If your weather is like Port Huron used to be 20 years ago, there are only two really hot weeks of the year: in July... Here in central Europe we are already experiencing over 31°. Some days, it can be impossible to fit the range of light brightness on one photo -- I have to turn down by 3EV to prevent the blue sky from looking white!
