    This Anhinga was drying his wings when I pulled up in my car.
    As usual he didn't let me get too close but I managed a long shot or two.

    White breasted Woodswallow - which is apparently not a swallow at all.

    This is the female Common Glider. The male is red which I have posted before but not sure I knew its name - or might have had the wrong name...
    Had to crop tight because there were some gaps in the background trees that were overly bright

    I just realised the above bird is not an Anhinga although it's Latin name is Anhinga novaehollandiae. It is the Australasian Darter, one of four Darter species worldwide. The Anhinga being the Darter species of the warmer Americas...
    The above is the female. I spotted the male for the first time today which can be seen in the Fauna forum.
