    Yes. I was totally fooled.

I subsequently got a very inappropriate Private Message from "her" which I brought to the attention of Admins. I've been advised that that account has been removed from the site.

It was very quickly obvious from a number of indications in ‘her’ first few posts in ‘her’ first identity that ‘she’ was up to some kind of mischief. Equally disturbing is that after ‘her’ first account was deleted, ‘she’ was able to rejoin twice more with very similar usernames and it wasn’t immediately picked up.

I've never seen one of those types of projectors before. Only an over head one with transparent sheets for drawing on that was used because the main projector had broken. Everyone laughed as it looked so old, like an ancient robot.

Overhead projectors were very useful when I was giving talks on colour, because you could play around with various sheets of coloured plastic to show mixing.
    Best with two projectors.

In the late 1960s, you could still buy plates from Ilford. I had a 10x8 inch wooden camera and took a few photos on plates, which I still have.

I mentioned to my neighbour (the proper photographer) all what I've learnt so far from you guys about film and projectors. He said he used to do 3D negatives and have a special viewing lens or something, you'd put two negatives in and it would make the photo look 3D? I think i've translated that right.

The best way to do stereo was to find a stereo camera (basically two cameras joined together) that took 120 size film. Then you need two projectors that took 120-size slides, a silver screen (Kodak made one for this purpose), and polarizing glasses.

    Backing paper?

I don't know what the world was like before the internet. Its always been there for me.

The Internet arrived at the same time as the Spice Girls.

I still shoot the odd roll of MF film mostly B&W and occasionally slide film. I develop them myself . Though as I no longer have a dedicated darkroom if printing I tend to scan them

I still have my old darkroom equipment which back in the day I had set up permanently . Now it is too much hassle to set it up for occasional use. Develop scan and print is much easier

Really?! Didn't occur to you to see if there is a Film photography group on here? In case you haven't guessed, there is.
