Hi J5 users,
Does anyone test 256g microsd card on J5? If yes, can J5 work correctly? Thanks!

Personally, I'd never test a card Nikon didn't recommend. Here's a list of cards Nikon recommends for the J5:

256 is a lot. I've never needed such a high capacity card. I use a 32 GB Sandisk extreme pro. So, I don't know, but I see no reason why a 256 GB would not work.
Thanks both! I am using 128g now, I find the price of 256g is acceptable, and hope to get more information before purchasing.
I have a 128GB in my J5 because that is the smallest that my local BestBuy had. It works fine but I gotta laugh that my first computer, which was a blueberry iMac, had a 4GB hard drive! My current Mac is 2TB.
My recommendation is to stay with 128 GB cards, unless you actually need the large space on a single card for practical reasons. I recently experienced hardware failure on two cards, 1x SD, 1x micro-SD. both from non-fake quality brands. The larger the card, the higher the impact and potential data loss.
Technology change very quickly :)
Thanks for your suggestion, I will not purchase 256g if I will not take J5 for trip. 128g microsd is enough to take photo now.
