As a Community Coordinator, you will work with our most valuable asset: the members of our online community. let me tell you some things about me

1.) I'm kinda weird, and I don't really like social media (at least the modern kind, which might make you money). I'm on flickr though... you don't remember? The one you just had to be on twenty years ago as a photographer... I'm sure I have more than a dozen friends there. 👌

2.) I'm almost exclusively interested in adapted manual lenses... no, not just the Trioplan and Helios but - get this - enlarging lenses! Isn't everyone raving still about the new Rodenstock Rodagon or Leitz Focotar... What? You're saying that was 40 years ago? But, back then I wasn't even alive. Okay... I guess, I'm a little bit anachronistic.

3.) I'm quite chaotic and make stuff explode:

5.) I don't really enjoy traveling.

6.) I'm afraid I repeat myself... (wait a second...!)

7.) I lack a lot of knowledge of the theory behind photography but perhaps could make up for it by wildly speculating.

If I had to compare myself to a lens (because, why wouldn't you?) I would say, that I'm a Steinheil Repro-Objektiv 80mm f/4.5, a lens no reasonable person with an interest in photography has ever heard of, without a single mention in any significant book or website, not very bright or sharp... and yet, if you close one eye and squint the other, what it produces doesn't even look half bad from time to time!

Got my application in right now after seeing this. My CV should be cast iron.

All those bans I got over the years for "truthful interaction" with all the fanboys and fanmods, should be proof that I am the right guy to clean up the DPR community, to make it fit for purpose.
