"Community, did you know DPReview is on Instagram and YouTube?

We often post about frontpage DPReview articles on these social channels and have custom video chats and showcases on YouTube. What's missing is more about the forums and your great community content. I want to change that.

This may start with sharing quotes on interesting topics and any photos that accompany them, perhaps from a camera review of your own, or from a technical discussion about a particular lens. Posts may also be part of a collage celebrating an event, or even be a direct outreach to you to spark your interest in an exclusive spotlight. All shared content would already be public, of course, and likely linked back to its source (so we can draw external folks into the forums).

So, with that in mind, what social media platforms are you currently using, if any, and what kinds of content do you want us to post more of there? What more can we post on Instagram and YouTube, specifically?

    Thanks for any thoughts!"

    Two immediate thoughts:

    1. I've already read it on DPR, don't even dream about me re-reading it somewhere else.
    2. "The socials" are dying, for a number of reasons; stick with core business and you might, just might, survive.

It's bad enough the place now looks and reads just like the rest of the pack, but that's no reason to defect entirely to that level of swill.
And don't call me Commie !

I never did watch them, maybe a handful of DPR TV Episodes. I don’t know where they are now, Ii’d heard they after DPR moved to Petapixel. If they are still there.

Can't blame them, it's a tough game to earn a real wage in.
The trouble is the same ol' shtick will only stretch to that many outings.
Kai proved that conclusively and HE was genuinely funny at the start.

Kai as in Kai Man Wong or Kai W? He'd go from DigitalREV leave it then went to the UK. His friend and Partner Lok Cheung also eventually left for the UK.They're together now. The best from DigitalREV but it got a bit tiresome.

Ta for that, hadn't seen that one.
Now let's hope the Poms block this ludicrous "Embassy" cum Prison/Concentration Camp the CCP are inveigling into London. Must be terrifying for a lot of people over there to see it entertained, leave alone built.
