DXO has announced a new version of their processing software, Photolab 7. This has extensive models for processing raw files, taking into account lens distortion, and one of the most acclaimed noise reducing algorithms, DeepPRIME XD. The upgrade, however, largely concerns a new approach to colour correction.

FilmPack has also been upgraded and is available separately.

30 day free trials can be downloaded.

I haven't installed it yet, but from watching videos, the principal improvement is a multi-faceted approach to local corrections.

Still no HEIC export option to replace JPEG, a long-standing ask.

I always give the major updates a try , but so far I really do not like the interface of PL. For me their pureraw 3 does what I want from DXO, excellent NR and better than the makers defaults corrections

The last iPhone supported, apparently, is an iPhone X?

That’s a hard pass for me.
