I'm just off out, but I can see the first post has something missing. I'll fix it when I come back (late afternoon UK time).

That's real strange!
Definitely some sort of technical problem that shows up differently for different people?
Here is a screenshot of what I see in your post above, as you can see the image is visible for me in your post; where you only see a big paper clip ??
Anyway, I'll try posting the original jpg image here again in this post. There is still time to enter your edit, I would be curious to see your version :-)
Good luck.
Screen shot of your post where I see the image but it shows only as a paper clip for you ??
that hopefully works for you and others now.

Fireplace33 - that's showing correctly for me in your last post. I'd only seen the "paperclip" before
Tim
For some reason the original post had the image but someone had deleted the actual file. The lower down post had it correct.
I could see it because I'm an admin.

Here is the original jpg image,
It seems to be working fine for everyone now :-)
Because of the problems experienced I'll extend the deadline to submit an edited image to the 18th August + 1 day extra for voting.
Have fun & Good Luck !
[ It's raining very hard outside there ]

Modification in Light, removed Colour Fringing, Changed a little grass colour perception.
Made more evident wet grass 😇
Everything needed to adapt the original to what I saw in it: The vision of an heavy rainy day!
Second test - added more colours management.
Tomorrow is reserved for voting only.
Get your votes in now :-)
Thanks for all your entries.
Congrats to @AlanSh for his old style sepia version of "the sheep under the tree" photo
And thanks for all the other entries too.
... that we got, despite the initial technical problems with the jpg ; although the RAW would definitely have been the better starting point ;-)
Here are few personal, selected comments.
.
@in2lapland 's version is brighter and more colourful and highly saturated, showing all the shadow details, but definitely moves away from the idea that it is darker and more pleasant under the tree in the shade, compared to that burning heat outside. The result looks like it has been made in some HDR mode.
@Andrew546 's version is less colourful and darker, but more "real" , it emphasizes the difference of the burning heat outside where the yellow grass and the sky are almost merging together in their full brightness, while the sheep are sheltering in that pleasant shade.
@ErikWithaK 's "more or less natural" version was a last minute entry and nearly won !
However, the grass and sky in the sunny area is not as bright as it was "in real life" as i saw it, which makes the image have a somewhat flat appearance.
@AlainCh2 's version takes a different view and makes it a rainy day. I didn't have an umbrella with me that day, so glad it didn't rain "in real life " ;-)
interesting idea and more or less works as intended.
...just a small note: I think we should avoid adding our own "watermarks" on an edited image from someone else.
Edit : thanks for removing it :-)
... here is my original edited version for comparison:
...looking at the others, I feel now that I could have made the sunny area, outside the shaded tree, even brighter.
Thanks all for the votes. I'll start a new one (number 39) in a short while.

Correct!
... I didn't notice the watermark was on!!
Sorry.
( I'll take care next time ... hopefully )
found the Culprit!
DXO was set to add watermark in each photo I edit
Even If I removed it while editing .... And I forgot that !!!
