Edit Me An Image #46 - Old Town Park. Finished.

Now I'm adding my closing thoughts.

First of all I want to apologize as the selected image was probably not best for creativity, I should have taken bit more time to find more challenging photo. Of course after I posted this and slept over it I had some better ideas.
Here is my processing, which is not very far what most of you proposed:
I used DXO for initial shadow lifting and then Nik Color Efex plugin, I think that it was Foliage Bump preset, which I modified little bit (unfortunately to my knowledge applied plugin settings are not stored so my memory might fail here). I also lightened trunk little bit to make it more attractive. There is light cloud in front of sun, making photo look like overexposed and sky losing colour, it's my main issue with this photo.

I like this processing, quite unexpected and working very well. Mysterious one.

Great work, if anything I'd open shadows little bit to show tree trunk textures little bit more. I like that you noticed excessive branches on top right and removed them.

I like crop, it emphazises arc-shaped tree canopy and lantern, which looks like lit, this photo gives indeed evening feeling.

Wow, this is something unexpected. But it may be not too far from reality at some point of time, here is photo what I made same day:

I like it a lot, only issue is that sky's blue tones seem to be bit too dark.

This crop cutting out blue sky makes tonality quite different, almost like sun piercing through fog.

Fun indeed and I like how colour changes from left to right in this crop.

Nice warm colours here, only think missing IMHO is blue tones in sky, bit too dark.

In this image sky seems to be more balanced with overall tonality but still tad too dark IMHO.

I like it, the contrast between tree trunks and leaves is making this image.
