If there is a choice between my version and Vahur's, I would prefer the choice to be given to Vahur.🙂

Vahur's is good for the crop and the clouds. 3DGunner's is good for the colours and that explosive look. It's a hard choice, but I would say 3DGunner is the winner in my book. It's nice of him (her?) to give way to another, but it is a better picture (in my opinion).

Just as an idea, the really difficult was to edit the image "#69 - In the zoo", to reconstruct it as close to reality as possible. For my amusement, the process took more than 7 hours, including some help from AI for some areas that was harder to reconstruct.😀

Do you think raising the difficulty level in terms of editing would be useful, or would it alienate some of the participants?🙂

How would you 'raise the difficulty level'? Some things that come easy to some are hard for others & vice versa. Also depends on the s/w you use.

I was thinking, for example, of an image that can be obtained from two different images, such as panoramas. For a more complex solution/idea, it would be recommended to construct the image with the entire content, as the widest field of view (or with other unique characteristics) and from there to continue with something original.

But it could also be capitalized by exploiting the content of a single image among those offered. It's just an idea, more for discussions, socializing, fun.🙂

Would you like to start a new different challenge based on those premises. Not an 'edit me an image' follow up - I'd like to keep that going as it is, but a different one - maybe with more commentary on how it can and is achieved.

Better don't. It has to be editor's own choice, not image author's requirement.
Most important is to find more interesting image than my 'in the zoo' was :)

I probably didn't make myself understood. It would have been about offering more editing options at the end, not about special requirements on the part of the author. And the discussion was only of principle, to better understand how far the editing proposals can extend. Now everything is clear, there is nothing more to add.🙂

    Thank you for your appreciation.🙂

If you decided that I should continue with a new proposal, I need a few more hours to get to the archive to try to find an interesting image, especially since I generally do not collect images in RAW format except rarely, in more special situations.
