I am not sure this is the right place for this thread, but on a scan of the site I couldn't find a scanner section. Anyway my V700 is having issues, it seems to be jamming when trying to scan 4x5 negatives, I did some a couple of weeks ago and every thing was fine. The scanner is one of the first produced and has worked flawlessly for 16 or 17 years. I am running it off an old Win 10 laptop, which couple also be having issues, so many variables. I tried to reset it without the top plugged in but just gave me an error, plugged in the top and it seemed to start OK. Just loking for suggestions.

So, the scanning assembly inside moves part way and locks up? And it only does so with 4x5?

I restarted everything this morning and it worked fine, old digital photo equipment, sometimes it is happy sometimes not. From an even older Linhof IV, 120 Angulon HP5 ISO 200 developed in Adox FX39II. Scanning at 800dpi still gave a 20mp file.
