Do see a lot of missing Exif data at the moment. Not only in my own posts that should have more Exif info but also in other threads
Same here, some of them are not available but most of them are.
It was a fix I asked for - but it needs modifying. I've contacted Martin about it.
Alan
I’m curious about what you wanted to ‘fix’ -EXIF seemed to be working well as it was. Most of my posts recently have had the meaningless EXIF lines, but one, yesterday, was mostly correct.
Output from ON1 Raw export wasn't correct. So I asked Martin to look at it - which he did, but it messed up other bits. It will get fixed.
Alan
Whilst we’re discussing things that don’t quite work as they should, is it just me or…
In the ‘Threads’ view, an unread thread shows a blue flag. When the thread is read, the flag turns pale grey. If I click the ‘Mark all read’ button, any remaining blue flags turn dark grey, but, when I refresh the page, the dark grey flags turn back to blue and the threads are once again unread. Am I doing something wrong?
You can't do it from "All Threads". It has to be done from each forum or (I think) from each section.
Alan
Pardon my ignorance, Alan, but what is a "section"?
Sorry - my silly words. A collection of forums. "News & Discussion", "Photographic Genres" etc.
Probably still my fault but I can’t get ‘Mark all read’ to work properly on any group of unread threads…
Let me check
Alan
I went into 'Documentary and Street' and clicked on 'Mark all read'. Waited about 20 seconds and that worked OK. Tried it with 'Technical Discussions' - also worked OK after about 30 seconds.
I then went into a parent heading - this time 'News & Discussions'. Did the same thing. That did not seem to work, but I may not have left it long enough.
I think at the moment, you have to wait while the mark all read macro does its stuff. I know it's a kludge because the original code didn't have that option, so Martin made something that loops round marking each thread as read - and it's not fast.
Alan
And back to the Exif, right now is it even worse,
Many photos do now show only : ISO100 28mm 1/640s 𝑓/4.5 (example) or Camera: unknown/undefined ISO20 4mm (35mm eq. 27mm) 1/537s 𝑓/1.8 or nothing at all
Can you post an example of an image which has 'bad' Exif displayed? We can fix it, but I need concrete examples.
Alan
One example is the image in this thread, no Exif data is shown but should be there (Canon Eos 5D IV Sigma S 60-600mm etc)
See also the Canon thread as one example A few of the latest added images.

I seem to remember that I stripped the EXIF out of the Venice photo.
OK - I'll get Martin on the case. Thanks.
