Exoskeleton

The spider in the second picture has molted and left behind the exoskeleton.

I've never seen a spider molt before 😲

I had a chance to catch the molting in progress and didn't know what it was all about. I had something to do and came back to take pictures after ~15-20 minutes, but the process was already over.😁
But I was lucky that the wind wasn't blowing and managed to capture 120 images for stacking.
For this image I only used 60 of it because it looks better partially out of focus.

After a few weeks when the leaves have yellowed.

Good one! I didn't know spiders did that, duh.

Every few years, lots of these appear around here in Texas.

In order to be visualized in S3D format, the subject must be photographed properly, from two different angles. 2D to 3D conversions do not offer the same quality/precision in volumetric rendering of the subject.

If you have a pair of images where the subject can be visualized in stereoscopic mode, it would be interesting to post them for everyone to see.👍

So, let see how bad this 2D to 3D conversions can be in comparison with a properly captured pair of images for 3D.

Some advanced software for 2D to 3D conversions using AI can offer better results, but "the real thing" is always better.🙂
